Golden Orb Birding Tours

With almost 10 years of Guiding Experience in the Eastern and Western Cape, with a passion for nature especially bird life, why not let us share our experience with you on one of our guided bird tours in and along the majestic Garden Route and the Addo Elephant National Park.
Plettenberg Bay offers the keen birder a large variety of habitats to choose from such as Forests, Estuaries, Oceans, Fynbos, Grasslands and Rivers. This contributes to a current a species count of almost 300 different species for the area.

We offer guided bird tours in and around the Plettenberg bay area which can be done either as a half day tour or at specific venues.

Our full day birding tours take place at a variety of popular birding venues along the Garden Route from Wilderness to Natures Valley.

We also offer a two day or longer birding tour to Addo Elephant National Park, in the Eastern Cape which offers a wide variety of bird species (approximately 200 species) accompanied by Big 5 game viewing.

Rates

R60 per person (minimum of 2) per hour, single rate on request
Duration is from 2 – 5 hours per day, excluding entrance fees
This rate includes tea/coffee basket, water, light snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
Transportation to and from activity is not included.
