Born out of a passion for motorcycling and the great outdoors, Bundu Motorcycle Adventures is based in Plettenberg Bay at the heart of South Africa’s stunning Garden Route. Surrounded by the outstanding beauty of the Outeniqua and Tsitsikamma mountain ranges, dense indigenous forest and powder white Indian Ocean beaches. Bundu Motorcycle Adventures offers an exciting opportunity to experience the very best of the Garden Route and the breathtaking beauty of our region by offering motorcycle rentals or fully inclusive, guided motorcycle tours over our mountain passes and through our forests.
Let us give you a taste of the real South Africa. No fenders, no windows, just the rider, the road and the great outdoors.
Tours
Our fully inclusive circular day tours* provide riders with use of a motorcycle, all safety riding gear (helmet, boots, gloves, jacket and pants) and fuel, we also provide refreshments and lunch. Following an experienced guide our tour routes cover +/- 300km and stick mainly to gravel roads enabling us to get up-close and personal with the natural beauty of our region.
We currently run tours on BMW F650GS Dakar motorcycles. These bikes are ideally suited our purpose and provide an opportunity for both expert and less experienced gravel road riders to enjoy a fun day out.
Routes of tours will vary depending on rider experience, weather conditions and any specific customer requirements. It’s your day out, so tell us what you want!

Rentals
For those of you who already know the area or simply prefer to explore without the help of a guide we can also offer rental opportunities from the bikes in our fleet.
We currently run F650GS and F800GS bikes from BMW and also a number of Harley-Davidson motorcycles for those preferring to cruise the highways in style!
So if you’ve left your bike at home and still want to ride the Uniondale Pass, The Langkloof or the Seven Passes or want to check out the Klein Karoo or Swartberg, just drop in or give us a call for a chat or to make a booking.

A refundable R10,000 insurance excess deposit is required for all rentals.
All Riders must be over 25 years of age and in possession of a valid motorcycle licence. Younger riders or those with a learners licence must be experianced riders and lodge a further R10,000 refundable insurance excess deposit.
