BITOU TALENT SEARCH CONTINUES
The search for local performers and artists continue this week with community introductory meetings to be hosted in Plettenberg Bay and surrounds. Bitou Tourism and Lunchbox Theatre are searching for performance art practitioners, artists and crafters to include in the Bitou Arts and Crafts Showcase 2009 during this year's Plett Festival in September.

TENIKWA BOASTS WITH NEW ARRIVAL
Tenikwa Wildlife Awareness Centre has proudly announced the latest addition to their wild cat family with the arrival of a 3-month old leopard cub, called ZweLakhe. The centre focuses on raising awareness of the indigenous cats in South Africa and hopes that the little cat will help to highlight their struggle for survival in the wild.

BITOU SCORES GOLD AT INDABA
Bitou Tourism celebrated a highly successful Indaba by receiving a gold award for their official stand for Plettenberg Bay and surrounds at Indaba this week. Bitou Tourism was awarded this accolade in the category for provincial/regional tourism bodies at the largest and most prominent travel show on the African continent, which was staged in Durban during the past week.
